Edgi Custom Works SAP kit — a shock absorbing piston assembly — for the Silverback TAC-41.

On a bolt-action rifle most of the noise and vibration you hear is the piston slamming into the cylinder head at the end of its travel. The SAP replaces the standard piston with one that absorbs that impact: a 40% silicone damper takes the hit and a threaded airbrake lets you dial in how much air is allowed to cushion the last of the stroke. The result is a quieter, softer shot cycle and less shock passed into the scope and stock.

It is also a tuning kit. Piston weight changes how the spring behaves, so three seal weights are included — 80g, 90g and 100g — letting you match the piston mass to your spring and cylinder rather than accepting whatever the rifle came with.
